The resolution of computer monitors are usually higher refresh rates are higher and smaller point size. Basically, they are all high quality.
The TV is designed to show TV images do not usually visible in very fine detail and they are in a distance of six to seven meters. Try this, go stick your nose into the TV screen and see the photo. You see these points? Now do the same on your screen. Notice how they are very small or virtually non-existent? That's the difference. Old TV had poor DPSI, monitors better than flat screen HDTV, s came out with more DPSI.
